Exclamation Just had Gallbladder removed on Tuesday

Hi all,

I just had my gallbladder removed on Tuesday. Had five stones, and had a lot of belching, nausea, and burning in my mid stomach. Doing ok so far. Just seem to be having some burning in my mid stomach still. Not as bad as it was, but still noticeable. Do you think this will go away over time? Did I make the right decision??? Too late now, I guess, huh?

Re: Just had Gallbladder removed on Tuesday

I had some burning for a couple of weeks after the surgery and like you was second guessing my decision. In my case it was brought on by yogurt (I think). Stopped eating it and tums took care of it.
It will get better with time.
