| Re: Help Please
This is known as Amenorrhea, specifically Secondary Amenorhea which is the absence of a period for more than three months.
This can be caused by a pituitary disorder, or a disorder of the ovaries called 'polycystic ovary syndrome'. You really need to see your doctor so he can find out what is causing this as it's not normal to simply stop your periods for no reason. He may do a pregnancy test, a blood test to measure your hormone levels, an ultrasound of your ovaries, and possibly a CT scan of your pituitary gland. Usually once the cause is found and treated, periods go back to normal.
You really need to see your doctor, and even though it's normal to be nervous, none of the tests he'll give you will hurt, if that puts your mind at ease. But please go, this isn't something to ignore, ok?
