| If someone knows why this happens to me......... Hi,
For the longest time now, (like 20 years), when I laugh so much I get this phlegm in my throat and I can hear like a high pitched sound and it is definitely the fluid from my lungs. After I stop laughing I cough so much my husband looks at me weird like he thinks I am going to die.
My grandmother had emphysema and so did my father, is this hereditary that I could have it. I did smoke years ago but quit.
The reason I am asking this now is because I laughed harder last night then I ever had and went through the whole process and then my lungs hurt to breathe for a little while but went back to normal.
I love laughing don't get me wrong but when I laugh for a long time it hurts.
Is there anything anyone can tell me?
Thanks,
Grace |
