I know this topic has a pretty funny name to some, but I am just tryin to figure out what is happening.Just about every morning when I wake up I have a nose full of large dried boogers.When I "remove" them most of them are dark/bloody.Sometimes there might even be some blood on my finger after the "removal".I cant recall exactly when I noticed this starting.I recently quit smoking and I dont think it used to happen when I smoked.Thats the only correlation I can think of.Anyone heard of this or know what might be happening please help.Thanks.....

Well, you hear of nasal discharge ...

and you hear of 'bloody noses'

Maybe this is a mild form of both of those.

Have you taken accutane or something that dries out your skin (but also other parts of one's body)?

Are you by any chance getting exposure to something, like a chemical of some kind?

There are ways that a body complains when getting too much of a chemical
Everything from headache, to cough, nasal discharge, etc

Could be a mild allergy to dust mites which live in your pillow. Try getting some pillow protectors to prevetn you breathing them in at night.

Try irrigating sinuses to keep them cleaned out. Your doctor can advise what to use for the irrigation. The more junk accumulated in sinus cavities allows for germs to multiply and end up with a sinus infection. Drainage from sinuses is most likely your problem.
