just listen please.

but i'm 16

there's no way in the world my mum can afford rhinoplasty for me i live in europe (england) . . i mean there's 5 of us.. my dad's run off .. and she just cant afford anything like that kind of money for rhinoplasty

When i was 11.. i was riding on my bike and i broke my nose.. the doctor's said they no longer do rhinoplasty for free cos they see it is plastic surgery but it is'nt if your nose was broke i mean it upset's me i'm embrassed for peopel to look at my nose from the side it looks like a hook or a parrot shape.. it's really depressing it ruin's my face.. i mean i've been bullied for about 6 year's and sometime's i wish i was never born.
and there's no way i can afford it .. just no way.. i just felt like sharing this with you... i hate my ugly self.

& from this nose i also get ALOT of NOSE bleed's .. argh i'm just to depressed everymoring when i look at myself.

Re: just listen please.

If you get a lot of nose bleeds than it might not be cosmetic... but my impacted wisdom teeth were "cosmetic"... But I bet it's not half as bad as you make it seem. A lot of people think they're ugly... and guess what.. they aren't. I broke my nose when I was 11 too. I almost had to have surgery on it because it was doing something to my sinuses and there was an infection that couldn't drain propperly. Theres ways around things being "cosmetic" if they find something that is medically nessisary... get those nose bleeds checked out

Re: just listen please.

Don't fret, many of us have broken our nose and survived teenage years. I was 18 when my nose was broken in a car accident. The doctor said the cartilage was broken loose from the bone allowing the end to droop down and said there was nothing they could do about it. This never kept me from having boy friends or girlfriends.

One thing to remember is, "beauty is from within" and not just on the outside. A beautiful person on the inside will outshine any external imperfections.

Look in the mirror and make a list of all the things you are thankful for, there are plenty.

Many times we see ourselves with critical eyes and see every flaw in a magnified way. At your age, we always want to be perfect. Well, we are perfect, God made us and we are His creation.

I agree that your mum cannot afford plastic surgery, but, as others have mentioned you may have a deviated septum that needs to be repaired in order to breath better or the nosebleeds will make it a necessity. Do see a doctor and find out what, if anything they can do for you.

Re: just listen please.

I do not know in England how it is but I know that here in the US there are training hospitals for doctors who specialize in certain areas. You may want to check that out . Usually the cost is very low and they do a good job because they are in training. Or if your nose is that bad as you said, write to the TV shows now that do pick people and do reconstutive surgery for free- and you get to be on TV! Also some doctors will let you pay off slowly or monthly.
The other thing is to start a saving account and even if you can only add a few dollars ( pounds) a months to it that is alright but make it your plastic surgery bank account and do not touch it till you have saved up enough- even if it takes a few years yuo'll then have the money to do what you want.
There are many ways to get creative and take control of your life and nose.
