Pain in lower right abdomen - General Health Message Board

I have had this pain now for about 8 months but the last couple of weeks it has been getting really bad. curled over at night just so i can sleep. it's not so much a pain it's like a tender feeling that i'm really aware of n if i'm layed on my belly it feels like i'm laying on something there

If anyone can suggest waht it could be or what i should do i'd be very appreciative.

I've been to the docs n he had a poke around but that was it, couldn't suggest what it could be.

It could be appendix, constipation, gallbladder, if female it could be your overy, tubal pregnancy, etc. Depends exactly where on your right side. Your dr would be best to tell you what it is. If it is still hurting I would recomend you go back to your dr and let him know it is still hurting. They can do MRI's, ultrasounds, etc to aid in diagnosing where the pain is comming from. Go back and demand some further testing be done. Good luck!
