Question Shoulder pain with deep breaths

Hi. For the past two days I've been having a light pain in my shoulders when I take a deep breath. I'm not sure what could be the problem? I feel fine otherwise. No fever, or no other soreness in the rest of my body. I'm not coughing. I have slight phlem in my throat, but other then that I feel fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Adrian

Re: Shoulder pain with deep breaths

Do you have a cold maybe and it's your lungs causing it since it only seems to happen when you take a deep breath?
It could be some sore muscles as well if you've been over doing it

Re: Shoulder pain with deep breaths

I don't feel like I have a cold. No running nose or cough. I'm low on sleep and a little stressed. Is it possibly linked to stress or fatigue? By the way the pain is like on the shoulder bone. Like on the ball. Not really in the shoulder muscles itself.

Re: Shoulder pain with deep breaths

It is possible that stress of lack of sleep can cause such pains however it is best to visit your doctor to get it checked to be sure it's nothing serious. If it were just one shoulder and not both it could be things like mild arthritis, bursitis and the like. But seeing it is two it's pretty uncommon that both would do that at the same time.

Have you done any heavy lifting lately? It's possible that that could cause it as well.

Either way if it continues definately get it looked at.
