Anyone know where medical drugs actually come from?
..for that matter also wondered where do chemicals in general come from ?? Anyone know? Thanks

The history of medication dates way back to the dark ages when man used herbs and natural substances for healing and pain.
As far as today goes there are scientific facilities that generally start testing natural products, sea life is the most popular, to find out its medicinal value and then recreate it synthetically as to not destroy the environment.

If you look at the chemical structure of certain RX drugs, you will see that the chemical compouds are derivatives of man made chemicals.
