Hi Everyone, Here I Go Again, I Have Had Allergy's But Now My Tonsils Are Large And Red, The Left One Bigger Then The Right One, It's Not Hard To Swallow But It Is Annoying, Also The Roof Of My Mouth Is Sore , Does Anyone Think This Is From Allergy's Or Something More Serious , I Am Very Worried That The One Tonsil Is Bigger Then The Other, I Read Thats A Sign Of Cancer, Anyone With Any Insight Please Advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might be from infection(bacterial or viral), I'm not very sure. I advise you to go to your GP or a specialist like an ENT. An ENT specialise in ear, nose and throat problems, so they might know what's wrong. How long have you had the symptoms? Is there any pain? Good luck!

No Pain, I Just Saw My Dr Last Week He Said Both Tonsils Were Big And Gave Me An Antibiotic But They Are Still Big A Week Later, I'm Kinda Confused I Don't Even Have A Fever , Does Anyone Think This Could All Be From Allergy's?

Is that your GP that you went to see? He might not be specialised in ENT issues, so if it's really bothering you alot, I suggest that you consult with an ENT. As whether it might be due to allergy, I don't have much info. The tonsils may or may not be swollen due to post nasal drip.

Sounds to me like your going to have Tonsilitis or you already have a mild case of Tonsilitis. Antibiotics might help a bit but not all the time. If you start getting a white coating on your tonsils then it is Tonsilitis.

Try gargling with salt water every 1-2 hours. Tastes pretty "salty" lol but it helps some hun.

Dont worry about cancer. It sounds unlikely to me.

You could ask your doctor for a strep throat test and have some swabs taken to determine what kind of infection is present in the tonsils. It might clear up in about 2 weeks. If it doesn't go back to your doctor.
