| Re: headache won't go away
I feel your pain, honey. I've had a constant headache for a little over a week, and the pain will come and go and no amount of ibuprofen will cure it. The only difference is that my headache is right in the center of my forehead.
As for you, I think I can safely say you may be suffering from migraines. Migraines most always "appear" on either side of the head. The pain doesn't need to constantly remain steady - some days it's okay, and others it feels like your head wants to explode.
I've asked about my own condition elsewhere and people have recommended using Excedrin, which supposedly works wonders for migraine pain. Also, I advise you to avoid diet sodas (if you drink them, that is); they contain artificial sweeteners that can be deadly during headaches.
.........
And note that some painkillers can actually cause headaches...isn't that a kick in the rear-end? O.o
......
But don't rule out other possibilities...a headache can mean any number of possibilities, ranging from a hormone imbalance to grinding of the teeth during sleep to an ear infection.
If your vision is or becomes blurry or you have trouble moving any part of your body during these headaches, get medical attention right away - such a situation is an emergency!
........
Best of luck to you, SarahE10. I hope your headache goes away soon!
