For the past 2 days, I've been feeling a light "pain" in my stomach that feels kind of like a hunger pain. Now you're probably asking yourselves "How can you NOT know what a hunger pain feels like??". My stomach feels as if it is empty, though I know it's not.
It feels as if I was jabbed in the stomach with a stick, as it feels almost tender in one area. And when I press lightly down on my abdomen I feel queasy.
.....................
Maybe it is, in fact, and increase in hunger...earlier this evening I ate a fair-sized dinner, and within 2 hours I was "hungry" again. I had to scarf a 1/2 cup of yogurt today also because I'm still on antibiotics, and this was the first day doing so was not a problem...I didn't have to force it down as usual. I ate it like I had not yet eaten.
I felt nautious about a week ago, which rendered me incapable of eating...could my sudden intense hunger be recoil from my time of starving?
................
I recall one time during the summer - August, I believe - for no reason at all I was sooooo hungry - I would eat almost every hour. It was strange.
...........
But anymore when I do not eat upon feeling this hunger, I feel more pain than hunger, as if someone is tapping my gut with the end of a stick.
.........
Does this sound weird or is it just me?
.........
End Note: No, I'm not pregnant, in case anyone suspects that ^-^
Kind of like your stomach is overworking? I feel that way. Like I havent eaten in hours and its "overworking." It may sound stupid but thats the best way I can describe it.
It could be an over acid stomach. Have you tried antiacids?
Yes, I take 3 Tums every day, not for my stomach, but to get my daily calcium intake (I don't drink the milk my mom buys because it's so high in fat).

Hmm...I guess you could say it feels like it's overworking.

I went on Google and looked up causes of an increase in appetite, and I got numerous possibilities, ranging from hormonal changes to hyperthyroidism. Well, I know that my period is due around Tuesday or Wednesday, although I've never had this problem before.
And I have had tests to rule out thyroid conditions.
.........
Haven't a clue...but hopefully it will stop, because I'm desperate to lose 10 pounds I've gained from steroids and this binge eating won't help me.

Dark Stranger - found fat burning pills that she hopes will aid her weight problem
Please do not waste your money or health on "magic" pills for weight loss.
The secret is to eat less and exercise more. A matter of calories in and calories out. If you burn more calories than you eat, then, you will lose weight.
Yeah! it is easier said than done, I also need to lose more weight.
Choose food from the low glycemic index and eat normal or smaller portions. Do an internet search for "glycemic index" and you will find it.
A word of warning about pills or other weight loss things. I used Slim Fast for a short period of time and it set my stomach on fire and I just knew I had an ulcer or something worse. So, take it from me, it just is not worth the risks to use weight loss magic pills or products. The old fashion eat less, exercise more is the safest way to lose weight.
