Im 19, a boy, and since the age of 13 my nipples have been really big, and fat. im a skinny guy too ive never been fat or anything like that. My GP said it would have gone away by the time i was 16. The only time they ever go 'normal' is when im freezing. It completely ruins my life, is there anything i can do? or am i stuck like this forever
Hi kizmatica. I suggest first making sure there is nothing wrong that can be causing it. If not, you may want to consider consulting with a plastic surgeon.
It is possible that although it may really bother you, others would not notice it. I know people are usually much more critical of their own flaws than they are of others.

Is it just the nipple that protrudes or the breast itself? And by ruining your life, do you mean that they show through in teeshirts etc?

Its just the nipple, and yeh they show through t-shirts, well u can see the shape etc, so sometimes i have to put celetape over them to hide them. I don't know what cortisteroids are, so i guess i haven't been on them. What are they? Could they help!!?
This excess breast tissue happens to many boys and usually has flattened by the age of 19. If it does not, your doctor can check your hormone level and if all is well, a surgeon can remove the excess breast tissue. Best of luck.
I have a friend whose son had the same problem........and the girls thought it was sexy. He didn't and he was like you...it bothered him. But he is now 24 had a great job, attends college and has all the girls he can handle. So...worry about the big stuff........and not the little!!! Be thankful you're healthy and happy!!!!!
(just a mom preaching) But seriously.....he just thought everyone noticed his chest because he did, the girls used to tell him how sexy it was!! So, enjoy!!
Thanks for the help however if that was my only problem i wouldn't be too bad. I have also had acne from the same age (around 12) so both of these lower my confidence to a complete minimum.
