Unhappy bony pain--is it cancer?
I have "bony pain" in my knees which sometimes spreads to the rest of my leg bones. I get it almost every day.

When I did a search on Google, "bony pain" pulled up 9 entries out of 10 which had to do with cancer. I am kind of worried. Does anyone know what else can cause bony pain; is it always cancer or can something else cause it (like maybe low calcium?)

Gosh, it could be many many other things besides cancer.i think you are getting way ahead of yourself.I wouldn't even consider THAT possibility at this point.Is there any family Hx of arthritis or osteo arthritis in your family/this could be just one possibility.Do you have any pain anywhere else besides the legs?This could be related to some sort of back problem or knee or foot problem as well.The place to start would be with your primary doc to discuss your symptoms.He/she would then be able to give any referrals for other specialists or do some sort of teasting.This could take some time so don't get discouraged too soon okay?marcia
