Question Nightmares about spiders

I often have nightmares about spiders who is on my body. Could stress when I am awake make nightmares like that, or do you think it's other reasons why I have nightmares about spiders?

When I'm awake, I'm not worried of spiders all the time, but I see spiders often in my dreams, and I don't like it. Feedback wanted.

Re: Nightmares about spiders

I do not have the answer but, my husband seems to always dream that a dog is chasing him and he gives a swift kick at the dog resulting in me getting a whammy on the leg. Believe me, I wake him up quick before I get another kick!!

Wink Re: Nightmares about spiders

Hi! In dream interpretations, spiders are often a sign of stress. There's a few different ways I've seen them interpretated. They could mean a lot of little things are "bugging" you right now, getting on your nerves. Or you could feel like you are being imposed upon/being taken for granted (that would make sense with them being on your body).

I have really intense car crash nightmares when I'm super-stressed and feeling like I'm losing control. I can happily say those aren't premonitions. Usually what helps for me is to write down during the day what is bothering me, looking over it, maybe even trying to find solutions. Also relaxation methods help too sometimes
