Swollen gland

I have a swollen gland on the side of my neck and it has been there for a few months now. What could be causing this ?

Re: Swollen gland

I know that a swollen gland is a sign of an infection, but I had blood tests 3 weeks ago and I found out I had anemia.but other than that my test were fine, the doctor would have told me if I had an infection right ?

Re: Swollen gland

I also had a blood test and all came out fine and they gave me this pill that seemed to work, but I only had a week or so of it and ran out and I have no Insurnce so I couldnt afford to buy more. This is really frustrating me

Re: Swollen gland

Hi everyone. I had the same thing happen to me and it finally went away. The most important thing is to stop touching it. I know it's hard....................but you have to stop messing with it b/c that just makes it worse. Also, my blood tests came back normal. One thing I noticed is if I take a multi-vitamin every day + a vitamin-C supplement it stays normal. Try taking those two vitamins every day and see what happens after two weeks without touching it either. I take 1500 mg. vitamin-C once a day during cold/flu season to avoid getting sick.
