| Re: Question about my ribs
Definitely get it checked out! Since you're young, positive changes can be made through massage, chiropractics, posture programs (Alexander technique, pilates..etc), strength training..etc.
If you DON'T make changes now, your lung capacity will weaken with age and predispose you to difficulties in fighting off colds, flus and pneumonia.
I had lung surgery in '75. I didn't do all the exercises because I was very active in horseback riding. I didn't keep up with strength training either and my muscle tone has definitely been compromised with age. Being female, my right breast is much smaller....and to me noticable. I can still make muscle changes to even myself out more, but have wasted valuable time that would have been more productive.
Keep us posted as to what's happening.
Best to you,
quincy
