Two very small white bumps on my tongue?

At the tip rightside of my tongue I have two very small white bumps, they are probably the size of a tootpick end, you can barely see them without looking very closely. They are very soar and I have had them for two days, I do use smokeless tobacco and am a little worried this could be cancer, but it could be canker soars. I guess I should call the doc... anyone think this is just canker soars?

Re: Two very small white bumps on my tongue?

It would probably be canker sores....I get them on occasion from oranges. OraJel for the Mouth can help heal them. It has zinc in it plus numbing agent.

If they don't go away in a few days, and are persistent....definitely go to the doctor and get checked out.

It's been proven that smokeless tobacco is an irritant, and considering all the chemicals, agents and consistent use.....cancer could be in your future.

At least you have a choice to stop....chew gum instead. It's too late to turn back once it's happened....considering the 'CURE' is much harder than quitting.

Best to you,
quincy

Re: Two very small white bumps on my tongue?

I say it is probably canker soars as well. I get them sometimes when I eat a lot of sugar or sweets like Skittles or Lollipops. I mean if the are still there in 3 -4 days I would call the Dr. They usually only last on my 4 days at the most. They go away pretty quickly.
