| Clogged saliva gland
I had all four wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago. Five days after the operation I noticed a lump inside my mouth, just down from the left corner of my lips. It is just to the left, against the front lower teeth. It feels like a small pencil eraser.
I went back to the oral surgeon two days after that to get my stitches out and I told him about it. He looked and said it was a clogged saliva gland, and that it should go away on its own in 7-10 days. If it does not go away, he will have to surgically remove it.
I just want to make sure this sounds right to anyone else before I go through another oral surgery so soon. It has been 7 days now since that visit and it does not seem to be going anywhere. It is not any larger, but not any smaller either.
Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
