Hey. Got a quick question for you all. I"m cold like always cold. But its a strange type of cold.
I can feel heat, like my face may be feeling like its on fire but I"m shivering... I mean... I had four layers on the other while sitting in front of the woodstove and I was still shivering. Its like having a constant fever almost.
Any ideas or am I just sensitive to cold?
I can't answer that one for you!! But I have something called "Raynaud's Syndrome" which causes cold feet, hands and nose. It runs in my family and I actually have a very mild case of it. I also get cold when I'm starting my period.
Just wondering if you ever had your thyroid tested. One of the symptoms of an underactive thyroid is feeling of cold. Is your energy level low and do you have a hard time maintaining your weight? If yes, it's a good idea to have your doctor do a good blood work up and check the thyroid.
I agree with the thyroid test. My sister has hypothyroidism and I know she had temperature issues before she was put on medication for it. She was also always tired and couldn't lose any weight because of it. In general though I think girls are just cold all the time. Do you ever hear men complain about being cold?
