even though you are not on an antibiotic right at the moment, the thrush can still have been caused by them. it can take a little time to develop. i get it constantly as after being on anti's for a year for lyme, i am infested with candida now and can get rid of it. yes, the losengers help, and there is another perscription i now use that is called nystantin which is a swish and swallow liquid for thrush.
the presnisone could be causing the thrush i guess, but my guess is the anti's you were recently on. eat yogurt as well, this helps and take acidolphus. i take it every day.
