may sound weird, but i think i caught it from kissing
for the last two days ive had a horrible stiff neck, a headache, a very tender low back, behind my ears the skins tender and just cant sleep at all.
are these the symptoms?

well i hear this is another name for Mono. I looked it up and it seems familiar to me, im feeling dreadful at the mo. because its part of the herpes virus, does that mean it comes back frequently like cold sores or are you onlu affected by it once?

I would definately get it checked out asap. I don't want to scare you, and it is rare, but those are also symptoms of meningitis. At any rate, you need to get it checked out soon because the soreness behind the ears indicates what are probably infected lymph glands and that means there is some type of infection, whether its mono or something else.
