Anyone have an experiance with thier appendix? I have been having some pain for some time and it is progressilvy getting worse...

if you think you may have appendicitis, then i would get to the dr to be sure. if it is, you don't want it to get so bad that it bursts, that would be very bad. so get to the dr, or if you are having bad enough pain, go to the er. if it is, you will have to have it removed.

my sister went through that just recently. She was "sick" she was always throwing up she couldnt keep anything down period. For a while she perked up but by the end of the night she was sick and throwing up again.

The doctors said the reason she probably perked up was because it burst on her. And the pressure was released. EEK!

My parents rushed her to the ER where she had an emergency surgery for the removal of her appendix. They say you shouldnt take any milk of magnesia stuff if you have appendisitis...

my sister was brought into the hospitol b4 they knew it was her appendix and they told me 'rents to give her milk of magnesia and that make her vomit like you wouldnt believe! that and she couldnt sit still. Give it a shot? if you throw up like nutz you may know...other wise do a good thing and go in. But i think you would be vomiting and stuff too...?

I was sick for 12 hours before my best bud made me go to the er. I was nauseous, but no vomiting and no fever. I didn't have any pain in the right lower abdomen either. So, no signs of appendicitis. When the pain did start, they were just about to give me some fluids and send me home. When they did emergency surgery, they said if they had waited another ten mins, it would have burst. Never know, that is a hard one. Heck, I had mine out in 1998, and am 27. My mom had hers out this year. If you can't feel better, get your hiney to the hospital. Better safe than sorry, ya know?
