There are so many possibilities with this symptom. Dizziness is a common symptom with many problems so it's tough to pinpoint what it could be. Do you have other symptoms as well?
You could be dizzy from low blood sugar but this is usually accompanied by cravings for food. Or you could be anemic, dizziness is also a symptom of low iron in the blood. These are just two possibilities.
A few months ago I felt dizzy. Usually when I would bend over or lay on the floor while playing with our dog. I went to the doctor and it turned out that I had fluid behind one of my ears. So fluid behind the ear or an inner ear infection can also cause a person to be dizzy.
Do you feel dizzy upon getting into a standing position? That's my problem -- it's called postural hypotension. In plain english -- low blood pressure. If the dizziness persists, see your doc. You should have your BP checked as well as iron levels, thyroid hormones & blood sugar. All could be factors contributing to the dizziness.
