R**** Change in temperature? - General Health Message Board

Is it possible for a r**** change in temperature to occur in a matter of minutes? I'm asking because either my thermometer is messing up or something, because I had a 103 temp and then a few minutes later, when I tried to check it again, it was all the way back down to normal. Is that even possible, or is it something with my thermometer?

I'm having a hard time understanding with the *****... I would guess that it's a problem w/your thermometer, or else you had just drank something hot or got out of a shower.

Don't know what the ***'s are, but I would say it's the thermometer. My daughter had to get a hepatitis B shot for school and went to the walk-in clinic, they checked her temperature first and it was 100.6 - she said she was fine! So then for fun I told them to take MY temperature - it was over 101! The thermometer was messed up! So it can definitely happen. Buy a new one.

(don't feel bad about the stars, it wouldn't let ME write a 3 letter word that begins with D, ends with T and has an O in the middle! (I was trying to describe some floaters on the eye and vision board! - silly...)
