HELP! question about shaving! - General Health Message Board

please help. i have a question. The other day i was shaving and i was goin aginst the grain like i shouldnt have and it started really hurting but i figured it owuld go away, but then today liuke 20 minutes after i finished i notticed a huge bum lookin bruise thing and its like the size of a dime. it hurts bad! does anyone know what this could be??? PS, i wasnt shaving my legs or armpits (laugh)

Sounds like an ingrown hair folicle. Warm soapy water and a gentle loofah sponge will help. Don't pick at it, and don't scrub roughly.

In the future, always go with the hair direction. Either that or do a net search for body sugaring and do your hair removal that way. It's similar to wax, but different and it doesn't hurt nearly as much.
