feeling nervous about going back to work - General Health Message Board

I've been out of work for nearly three weeks, and I had just started the job. The dr at first thought it was bronchitis but after 2 rounds of antibiotics and other meds, I went back sicker than ever and then she thought whooping cough. So I have been on eurothyromicin for a week so I am no longer contagious if I do have it. I am just worried about returning to work because I'm prone to fainting and I'm worried about that happening at work, and what they will think if it does

I would go back and just explain to your boss that you aren't feeling up to par yet but that you didn't want to miss anymore work and tell him/her your concern. I bet they will be very understanding. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!
