My daughter recently had this and I know she couldn't eat too much for a while. She was put on two different kinds of antibiotics and also given prevacid for a month. After taking some more blood work, the bacteria is gone.
It is basically a bad bacteria in your stomach and ulcers and said to cause it somehow. Are you on any antibiotics?
Treatment is usually 2-3 different types of antibiotics to kill the bacteria off. I've never heard of honey, but if it works, why now huh? When I was little, I used to take honey for colds and sore throats. It worked great for a sore throat, plus I loved the honey, lol.
