Hair on hands/fingers? Why?

I am 15 and have some hair growing on fingers:

Ball your fist up to a... fist... look straight at it, that area is where hair is growing...

is this normal? I have took a razor and cut it down a couple of times already... it's not increabable long.. Maby between 1/4 to 1/2 of a centimeter...

so is this normal? and what is the reason it grows on your fingers... you see celeberties and random people on the streets and most don't have hair there...

Re: Hair on hands/fingers? Why?

It is normal. I am an older woman and have hair on top of fingers like everyone else does "unless" they have hair removed. Celebrities spend fortunes on personal upkeep including plastic surgery, waxing etc.

Having hair on top of toes is a good sign circulation is good.

celebrities dont show flaws, and they remove all their body hair. They have resources that the average joe does not, so please try not to compare yourself. I have what you are speaking of. No biggie. I thought I was a sasquatch freak too. But Im not. You are fine. at your age, you think everything about you is strange and bad. But its not. I promise.

Mid-digital hair is genitic - either you have it or you don't. It's a 50 - 50 chance.

Yeah, I guess that's true... Atleast I search into things

So it's ok to just razor it off every now and then?

I must have good circulation... I got toe hair :P

Re: Hair on hands/fingers? Why?

it's perfectly fine to shave it off! and finger hair is more common than you think, lots of people have it, from our "caveman" days when we used to be hairy beasts haha.

Re: Hair on hands/fingers? Why?

Don't know if you are male or female, (seems more normal for a male), but my daughter has that too - she is 17 and was complaining a while ago, I just found out that she shaves them. (She never did ask me, but I'd have told her and am telling you, that if you shave it, it'll grow in thicker and more noticeable) - I always had toe hair too! I hated that! And I am very pale fair skinned person and the hair on my toes were black! I used to shave those (it's funny, I am 46 and no longer have any hair on my legs, I never have to shave, but that dang TOE hair is still there! LOL!)

If you've already done it I guess it's ok as long as you a prepared to always do it. I've heard that so many times, about hair getting worse if it's shaved.
