hi,

can anyone please give me some advice. here is the story: I was going out with my boyfriend for a year. I am 16 and he is 17, and I know it seems young, but we had a very good relationship. we took care of eachother through bad times, and we always were there for eachother. We had a fight and he "popped" (quote from him) and he said he didnt care about anything and he needed to leave the state. Well, lately, he hasnt talked to me at all even though he knows that I am having a hard time with health problems and stress from the sudden let down. he has been going over this girls house, even though so many people tell me he has no feelings for her like that, and she doesnt even like him. This sudden betrayal has happened to me once before. BUT, he told me that he promises that he would be back for me because he loves me, and that he knows he will be back. Then, I heards that he told his mom that he just doesnt want a relationship at all. Why would he tell me that he would be back? i told him that if he didnt want this anymore then to just tell me that, but he wouldnt. I dont know what to do.

Honestly.. this guy sounds like a jerk. He's just not that into you. Doesn't make you any less (makes him less cause i bet you are a great person) IF he really did care and loved u, he wouldn't just leave u like that and never talk to you and go see some other stupid girl, u know?

I know your heart broken, and it sucks, cause he took advantage of you. But try not to feel sad and realize that he's a jerk. You don't need this guy. You said you've been betrayed before, so you probably should be more careful when choosing guys.. just take things slow and don't rush yourself.. you still really young and should enjoy being single.

I hope you feel better and realize that you didn't lose something good. Just remember, if he REALLY cared for and LOVED you.. he would have done NONE of things that he's done to you.. just think about it.. would you do those things to him?

this looks like a topic for relationships boards.

But you two are young and it's only natural for thing not to work when you this age. I dated a couple guys when I was 16 and 17 and yeah it hurt but once you get a bit oldder you see how dumb and childish they were.

He told you he would be back because he wants the best of all worlds. Do you really want to love someone who doesn't love you to the same degree? You would have an unhappy life. Please don't let someone who could treat you this way, cause you to feel so badly that you are developing health problems. He isn't worth it. You will find another person to have a better relationship with, in the future. Try to concentrate on taking good care of yourself. You're worth it!
