| Re: 24 Year old male odd pains
Do you notice the pain gets worse after eating a meal? Particularly greasy foods. Get any beter when you havent eaten in awhile? I had simular pains, a little more off and on for maybe 2 months, then it got real bad one night and it wouldnt go away or let up at all. I finally gave in to it and went to the ER, and though I didnt have pains in my bellly or point tenderness I had gallstones. I had been having attacks, until that night, one extra large stone got stuck and caused infection since it blocked the duct off completely. Its just a though, the back pain you describe particularly reminds me of the type I had. Besides an ultrasound or ct, the way you could find out on your own is not to eat anything for a long period, maybe 12 hours or so and see if it goes away or lets up at all. That includes drinking except a little bit of water here and there. They waited 3 days for surgery to let antibiotics work on the infection since it was so bad and in that time they didnt let me eat or drink, I had sips of water from the fountain in the hall though, had to. lol But I got desperate and ate some crackers, but not thinking, they were ritz type which are greasy, only at maybe 3 of them, and I sure paid for it. But I dont know how far off this is for your situation, just throwing suggestions out, chronic pain can be horrible to deal with, especially when you cant find a reason for it.
