Warts on eyelids?

Hi wasn't sure where to post this question.....
I think I have warts on my eyelids and underneath. Someone said they look like clogged oil glands but they are spreading, flesh colored...and some in little tiny clumps. I don't have an appointment until SEPTEMBER...eeeeckkkkk! I am kinda freaking , yuck. Anyone else experience this and could you tell me what happens or what you would suggest. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. FYI I noticed the first ones like 2 years ago but pay no mind to them since weird growths are common in our family (when you get older) and I am only 29. Thanks.

Re: Warts on eyelids?

Sounds like you may have what is called "skin tags" on eyelids.

If your appt in Sept. is a regular check up, call for a visit regarding the things on your eyelids now. It could be something that needs immediate care. Skin tags can wait, but until you have them checked out you really do not know if they need attention now or not.

Re: Warts on eyelids?

Marie55-
Thanx. My mom and grandma have loads of skin tags and other things on there body. But I didn't expect to get them so soon. They are fair and I thought my medium olive complexion would have saved me because my sister is fair too and she has them. My dad has no issues and he pretty dark. Makes me sad I might be afflicted too. I am probably more concered because it is near/around my eyes and it seems like such a tender area to have them removed. But if they are just benign skin tags I actually will be more relieved, since they are not WARTS!!!!! I have actually had a few skins tags sniped off before but these appear a bit more flat as appose to hanging a bit. Well thank you once again, and I will try and call the dermatologist again to see if I can get in sooner.
