Water does not contain enough calcium to make it your only source for the mineral.
It depends where you live, and how your water is treated. Hard water tends to contain more calcium than soft water.
Adults need at least 700mg of Calcium a day. Hard water might contain up to 200mg, but soft water contains virtually none.
