Male Nipple Pain - General Health Message Board

I'm forty seven years old. Suddenly for the last two weeks or so I have had sensitivity pain in my left nipple. It seems a little enlarged. The pain has not gotten worse or better. It hurts on the initial touch but not more so with added pressure. It's not discolored in any way. Should I be concerned?

I think you should at least go to the doctor and have it checked out since it's out of the norm for you.

It could be nothing, but better to be sure it's nothing since you'll probably worry about it if you don't.

This is probably not the case with you but you need to know that males can also get breast cancer,it is not a female only type of cancer.You really do need to have this evaluated by your doc.i am sure it is nothing more than some sort of a cyst but you really need to be sure of just why it is there and what it is.please keep me posted,FB
