Constantly Tired / Zoned Out

Ok, this happened to me on sunday the 21st of August 2005. I woke up, and felt like crap, very tired, and zoned out most of the time. Its now been 4 days and i am still like this. I feel tired all the time, and at work i seem to drift off into another world. I dont know whats wrong with me, this happened last year around the same time and its killing me!!! It seems as if my hearing and vision have become lesser in ability also. I dont have any other symptoms at all besides these ones, its so strange. Everything else in my body feels fine.. I dont have time to visit the doctor because of my daily schedule. So if someone could please explain to me what the cause of this sickness is and how i can rid it, it would be greatly appreciated ....

Re: Constantly Tired / Zoned Out

hey prelude, these symtoms you are having sound like the symtoms a friends of mine has had for a couple months. It could be diabetes, mono, or you might not be taking enough of a vitamin. You might want to get a blood test done.

Re: Constantly Tired / Zoned Out

The only person who can give you a definitive diagnosis is a doctor. The rest of us can only guess and give general suggestions/support/advice. I agree that getting a blood test done would be a good start. This could rule out any thyroid disorders, anemia, blood sugar problems, vitamin definecies, etc.

If this happened at the same time last year maybe Seasonal Depression is a possibility. Have you been feeling down or depressed as well?

Take care.

Re: Constantly Tired / Zoned Out

Happy to hear that you're not depressed and congrats on the promotion!

Hopefully the blood work will be able to tell you something. Maybe the doc will suggest changes to your diet or something to give you more energy.

Take care and good luck.

Re: Constantly Tired / Zoned Out

It is now time for "you" to call the doctor's office for results of the lab. It is easy to fall between the crack when someone else is responsible getting info to the patient.

One time my lab report was put in another person's file and had I not checked I would have never known what the results were. Another patient had my same name but they had my husband's name, so no problem. Yeah right. The other patient's husband had the same name except for the middle initial. Just never know where our lab reports will end up!!
