What's the deal with the Protopic recall? - General Health Message Board

A doctor of dermatology told me today that Protopic was recalled and no longer available because resarchers are saying that the main ingredient causes cancer. Anyone else heard this? Can someone give me more details on this finding such as how long they are saying that people have used the product to determine this etc...Thanks everyone!

I don't believe it's been recalled yet.

It is true that the FDA is evaluating a link between Protopic and cancer. It may take 10 or more years to officially declare whether there is definately a link or not.
