| Re: In Case of Emergency (ICE): Post suggs to be better prepared
Hello,
I do agree this is a good system. In Case of Emergency or ICE, the ambulance or even police, or whomever reaches you first telephones the person listed on your cell/mobile (obviously if you don't have a contact who has a cell/mobile then a land line telephone) using the reference ICE. They can then get all relevant medical details from the contact.
I agree you need to keep your records updated and ensure that the person(s) who are going to be your ICE contact(s) are kept up to date of any changes in your drugs or treatments.
