blood clots - General Health Message Board

well my dh went and got the tests done for his problem and they came back neg for infection. just fyi he has been peeing blood for 4 days now and its now turned into blood clots, but he is in no pain at all!! which is strange. he cant get in for 3 weeks for the u/s which is bothersome! any one ever heard of this?

No. Blood clots can be extremely dangerous. How do you know he has blood clots? I mean has he had tests done to determine that he has blood clots or is it just that the blood that he is urinating is clotted? I don't know for sure that just because the blood that is coming out is clotted that that means that he has blood clots elsewhere. If he has not had tests of the legs and elsewhere to figure out if he has blood clots he needs to. You need to go to a hospital etc. if there is any chance. My aunt and cousin both died of blood clots so I do not take them lightly at all. My cousin was only 27 when he died.

thanks amanda, well the best way i can describe it is when we have our period and we get little clots sorry about the tmi, thats what its like. the first couple of days it was just blood pee then that stopped and little clots are now coming out. not everytime he pees but almost. he is at a diff docs right now trying to get some info. he isnt in any pain anywhere though and has no infection!! i cant seem to find anything on the internet. im sorry to hear of your family members and i only pray its nothing like that with him.
