I bit the inside of my mouth, by the canine teeth area.
It was actually my canine teeth that pierced my skin on top and bottom of my mouth...this was like 4 or 5 days ago and it's not getting better!!
I've tried mouthwash and that doesnt do anything but make it sting! My mom suggested swish my mouth with warm salty water so i've been doing that since yesterday, im trying to do it about 3 times a day at least...will this help? And if not or even if it does is there anything else I can use?
You might try Benzodent. It is used for denture wearers with sore spots. It helps with the pain and it helps with healing. I don't see why it wouldn't help your problem. I don't have a tube right now or I would see what all it helps. Good luck!
Eat only very soft mush foods that do not really require much chewing in order to avoid biting the area again. Once you bite a spot, it swells, and is easier to bite again and again preventing healing.
Drinking liquid meals might not be a bad idea for a few days.
The salty water thing really IS a good idea. This ,for some reason, really helps alot with mouth problems.I always do this when like you, just happen to accidently bite a side of my mouth.it really does help.**
