well i was thinking that i possibly have the flu, but mostly my neck is really sore. when i wake up the rest of my body aches, but now its just my neck. and its a really bad pain. the thought of meningitis has came up, but im not sure. please help, this may be serious.

If you think you have meningitis, you need to go to the emergency room NOW. Look for things like fever, headache, stiff neck, and sensitivity to light.

There are also lymph nodes in the back of the neck on either side of the spine which can be painful and feel like neck pain. But if you aren't sure, go to the doctor and make sure that it's not something serious.
