| What do you think?
I've been sick for the better part of eight months now - it's been on and off really - but I'd say that in total I've been sick for about seven of the eight months. Anyhow, lately I've been getting dizzy for no reason, one time I was sitting in class and the whole room started spinning, I got tunnel-vision, and I started seeing black spots. For a minute or so afterwards I was having trouble making sense of conversation.
Basically, I got sick back in April with something the doctor didn't diagnose. It seemed to go away, but I kept getting headaches. A few weeks later, I had an outbreak of shingles (second time; I had shingles at around age 7 or 8). It went away, but I was having sinus pain. The doctor gave me medicine, but it didn't really work. It made the sinus pain go away, but I then had all the symptoms of mono - except none of the tests showed I had it (I had a monospot and EBV tests done twice). I've kind of learned to live with it.
Now, I've been getting dizzy, feeling really tired all the time, I've been short of breath, cold a lot of the time, and I will have times when it feels as if my heart skips a beat and my chest will get really tight (I have a family history of heart disese... if that helps). I have this weird immovable bump in my neck - it feels like a really hard lymph node, but it hasn't changed at all (maybe it was always there and I just noticed?). My ears have been hurting a little - just enough to be annoying, but nothing more. Occasionally my throat will hurt for no reason. I have also noticed that I seem to bruise easier - maybe I'm just more clumsy? I also have this feeling of just... general unwellness.
What do you think I have? Should I go to the doctor? If so, what tests should I have done?
I would really appreciate your response to this.
