Light Headed/ Leg Discomfort - General Health Message Board

I went to the doctor with all of the symptoms of a sinus infection. I got the Z-Pack. I am now starting my third day and seeing little imrovement. Furthermore, I continue to have a light headed feeling all of the time, and my legs feel stiff/weak. Any ideas?

I'm not really sure what the Z pack is but I can tell you that in December, I had a horrible virus that hurt every muscle in my body. It lasted for about a week and got a little better each day. Then 2 weeks later, I had a relapse
with a very bad upper respirtory infection and was given Kepak and I also got very light-headed from it. I had to stop taking the medicine. The light headedness could be from your sinus infection.

I would give it another day or two.. sometimes sinus infections take awhile to feel better because even though the infection is going away your sinuses can stay swollen and congested longer. Z-packs usually work well for me. If you don't see improvement on day 5 then call your doctor. As for the lightheadedness.. that's pretty common with sinus infections. Not sure about the tight legs, that just could be residual from the infection and your body fighting it off.
