im sorry to give you those three dreaded words but, you may have carple tunnel syndrome
stiffness is a very common symptom, i looked into it when my hand started feeling weird (im an artist by profession and hobby, and i often use a mouse and tablet to colour my art)
clicking isnt relaly a sign form what ive read, but i have clicking in my right knee, which i aquired via soccer, its eitehr a torn ligament or a ripped tendon (i forget which) tehres no cure, but its nothing serious, just annoying, and its very possibleyour wrist has the same problem.
here are my symptoms, which i later read were all of the symptoms of carple tunnel:
do your symtoms match any/most of these?:
numbed
heavy-feeling
gets cold alot/easilly
dropping things often/easilly
harder to move/stiff
strained-ish pains in the back of the wrist
pains in the middle/index/ring knuckel/finger
shooting pains down the thumb
i read that if you bend your wrist at a 90 degree angle in relation to your arm, an dit feels better, thats a definite sign, you should try that, it didnt work for me, so its not a sure way to tell, though
if you do have symptoms, see your docter, if you ahve it, youll be directedto wear a spint/brace for a certian amount of time, immoblisieng it to relive teh constant tention/pressure you put it through, and if taht doesnt work, youll likley be given surgery, a small opening in yoru wirst for tention release, which may take some time to recover form, so its much better to cetch it early an avoid surgery, dont procrastinate~
also, theres something called "wristreleve" the lable and booklet inside are very midleading,
it implies that is will cure, or atleast keep carple tunnel from worstening, i called the company for confermation on that, and excuse my langauge but thats a load of crap, and im suprised they havent been sured for false advertsieing. i dont suggest buying it unless all you want is temp. pain relief.
