| Inflamation in sprained shoulder
Does anyone know how to get inflamation down without strong drugs or drugs with the serious side effects. I sprained my shoulder a few weeks ago and doctor prescribed me ketoprofen and a muscle relaxant. I read the side effects which said that the drug could contribute to serious and fatal heart problems and stroke and internal bleeding, well, I would not take them, of course, I dont want any help to have a heart attack or stroke so I thought I would just try advil and when I asked the young Pharamicist, she told me that advil could do the same thing which I question but don't know what to do as I have a lot of pain, do have pain pills but don't like to take them as they only help awhile. The doctor wants me to exercise the arm, I am using it but when I go to exercise it, it can be very painful and I believe if I could get the swelling down then it would help. I guess what I should do is get something else from the doctor but I am a bit timid of that right now and thought I could do it myself, I would appreciate any suggestions anyone has, tonight its damp and raining here and my arm is a mess.
