| Re: Boyfriend has chromes
I do hope he is seeing a good gastrologist. crohns is a life long disease. Now a days it can be kept under better control with the newer meds. it is not deadly. But it can be very delibatating. He is not gaining weight because crohns causes one to not absorb nutrients from your food. No matter how much you eat. by getting the Crohns under control with meds he will improve. and gain some weight.
Stress does play a big part in keeping Crohns under control. Most people with Crohns do see that when they under stress the Crohns almost always flairs up also.If your boy friend suffers from depresion. Then he should seek medical help (meds) for the depression as this will help the Crohns also.
Crohns has shown to be genatic. But many people with Crohns have no family history of it.Enviromental factors ,Stress diet, and many things also cause Crohns. They has been some studies that suggest it can also be caused by the MRI vacinne.
He should be on meds. Is he taking anything?
