Night Sweats !! - General Health Message Board

If anyone can HELP
For the past 10 months i have been having night sweats, most nights i am awoken a few times through the night as i am wet all over and the bed is soaking, i have to sleep in a double bed on my own so when im woken for the first time i can dry myself still half asleep then roll over to the other side of the bed thats dry, but for the past months or so its gotten alot worse to the extent that when im awoken again dripping wet in a sodden bed i have to go and sl;eep in the spare room (which has a double bed luckily) but then the same thing happens again after a couple of hours sleep, i been to docs and they sent for some blood tests dont know what for but they came out ok, i went back to docs last week as i'm getting to the poin where i cant cope with it any more, they then sent me for some chest x-rays (dont know why my chest) i am still awaiting the results,
PLEASE can someone help me tot try and find out what is wrong with me

I would say it may be menopause but you appear to be a male. Are you on any medications? Have you had your thyroid checked? It may be something as simple as your bed sheets or clothes your wear to bed could be mostly made from synthetic fibers (which are known to make many people sweat)---Do you have any other symptoms?

Do you have other symptoms like weight gain/loss, early morning back aches, sweaty palms during the day, blood pressure changes or vision changes (blurred, loss of night vision, painful eyes sometimes).

I think they sent you for chest x-rays because this could be a sign of TB, also could be a sign of HIV. Best of luck

Hi adey.king. There are some good comments here. Do you have any other symptoms besides the night sweats? Do you ever have shortness of breath, heart palpitations, or other symptoms?
