Re: Clinical Research trials
I work in clinical research for a pharmaceutical company, what do you want to know?
Keep in mind that the specifics of each trial from site to site and sponsor to sponsor. Just because one patient is paid for their participation in one trial doesn't mean they will be paid for their participation in another.
Also keep in mind that clinical trials are designed to test the investigational drugs in the human population for safety and effectiveness. It is possible to have certain unexpected side effects from the medication, but no one knows if it will happen to the patient or not. Because everyone responds differently to each medication.
If you are interested in finding out what trials are currently ongoing, do a google search for clinical trials and click the first link which is titled Information on Clinical Trials. I would post the link for you, but that is not allowed per the board rules.
What else would you like to know?
