Low-Dose B Vitamin Complex?

I'm looking for a B vitamin complex that doesn't have idiotic ammounts of B vitamins...like 3333% of the daily requirement. These products make me feel ill. Does anybody know of a B vitamin complex with REASONABLE ammounts?

Re: Low-Dose B Vitamin Complex?

Some people simply do not tolerate the B complex vitamins. My husband becomes ill after taking but I take them every day with no problem.

Apparently, you are sensitive to something in the complex. You might try small dosage of individual B vitamins and see how they work for you.

Re: Low-Dose B Vitamin Complex?

It's definitely the high doses which are the problem.

Re: Low-Dose B Vitamin Complex?

"Reasonable" is a relative term. I'm not sure if what you consider "reasonable" is my "reasonable".

Check Walgreen's. They have several B-complexes with lower amounts than you mention.
One is their Gold Seal Super B-Complex with vitamin C which contains ~
Vitamin C - 300.0 mg - 1000.0% Daily value
Thiamin (Vitamin B1) - 15.0 mg - 500.0%
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) - 10.0 mg - 588.0%
Niacin - 50.0 mg - 250.0%
Vitamin B6 - 5.0 mg - 250.0%
Vitamin B12 - 10.0 mg -167.0%
Pantothenic Acid - 20.0 mg - 200.0%

Re: Low-Dose B Vitamin Complex?

That's not bad, but I was thinking more like a children's B vitamin complex. Something with definitely small ammounts! I can find children's multivitamins, but what I really need is a B vitamin complex for kids.
