| what is this illness?
Have not idea where to post as have no idea what this is.
My sister is 47yrs old. Slight diabetic. For about 2 years now she has been feeling unwell with some strange symptoms and is in great pain. She suffers with terrible cramps a lot of the time, these cramps are like very bad pins and needles in her joints and muscles. She get bad vertigo and has to keep her eyes shut or she is sick/falls over. (Blood pressure is fine) 3 times her muscles have seized up so severly that her foot and hand have twisted into a very strange position and she could not make them release and was in agony stuck in that position. Her muscles lock up about 3 or 4 times a day.this has left her weak on her left side now. ( not a stroke)since then she cannot stop going to the loo with great urgency(wee wee) sometimes walks with alimp, face twitches.drops stuff.hazy vision and eyes sometimes hurt. Funny feeling in her head she just cant explain, left side is now much weaker.Dr first thought a stroke but not now. I feel a lot of these symptoms are of MS but otherwise i dont have a clue. If you have any advice i would be very grateful and dr is now making her wait to go to all different places for tests and there are big waiting lists. She wants to know NOW what might be wrong or where to get help.
