Hello all i am new here and looking for some help. I have been having problems with what i think is my veins and cant seem to get any help from any of the doctors i've seen in the last four months. i have these painful lumps in my left and right arm that feels like bulging veins with my left arm turning red throughout the day. my legs also have these same painful veins. my left calf has veins sticking out that are very painful and feel like ropes. there are times that the veins in my left hand will bulge out and cause great pain in my fingers, hand and arm. also alot of my veins have been coming to the surface throughout my whole body cause much pain and i have these little red dots showing up on my skin and the do not go away. i was once told that they were blood vessel breaking under the skin. i have been to two family doctors. one is a internal medicine doctor and the other is a D.O. both could not help me. i have been to a cardiologist and claimed it could be a valve problem in my veins and sent me to a vascular surgeon. the vascular surgeon pretty much blew me off saying i dont feel the lumps. i had to show him and he said just dont rub on them. i ask him why my left arm is always red and he said "i dunno". i had to beg just for him to do an ultra sound on my arms which i get done on friday 8/18.
i feel i'm fighting a losing battle and no one cares to try and help me figure out what is wrong with me.
by the way, i am 29 year old male. i have been losing weight. over a year ago i weighed 375 pounds. i am now around 295. in the last two or three months i have lose 25 pounds without even trying. i wish i could just feel good again. thank you all for listening. Can anyone here shed some light? Adam
