Which liquit is used in hospitals to moisten electrodes that appose to human body (e.g. for heart rate monitors etc)?

If they are dispossible they shouldn't be moistening the electrodes. If the get dried out they are suppose to replace them. If they do it's probably with either water or normal saline, which is a 9% salt solution.

What about defibrillator they surely use some gel to moisture electrodes, for better contact with body skin.

I asking cuz i purchased heart rate monitor and it require electrodes to be moistured for it to work, and usual water dry out quickly unless i sweat

I can't remember what we used. You can call the none emergency number for your local fire department and they should know or maybe a medical supply business. Also ask if KY jell could be used since it's easy to find.

You could try some Signa electrode gel. Its not too expensive and it should work for your situation but I am not sure how it will holdup to your workouts. As far as defibs go, the trend has been to shift from using liquid gel to using gel sheets (work well and are not nearly as messy). Personally, I would try to avoid using the gel if possible just due to the fact that it has the potential to get messy. Out of curiosity, may I ask what kind of heart monitor you have.
